Thank you! For sharing with us the truth on this, I've help deliver many moms and I gotta tell you, there is something to be said for women who embrace motherhood rather than find ways to avoid it or not be to inconvenienced by it. I love the simplicity of being able to strap your child along to go together about your adventurous & busy day. That is what seems natural and right. In fact I think more women should be allowed to bring their children in to their work, until the child can no longer easily be carried. Maybe this is naive, but that idea sounds lovely and wonderful and just the way it was meant to be. :) thanks again!

Hemp is also great for support. I have used cotton wraps, but since I recently got a 50% hemp & 50% cotton wrap, I have noticed that it is more supportive, especially in a rebozo carry. I still love my long cotton wrap, but for a rebozo, I do grab for my size 2 hemp wrap. But then again, I am still a wrap newbie, so making sure my carries are high and tight with an all cotton wrap is still a work in progress.

Carseats are definitely great for cars! (Lifesaver, obviously).

When my babies were newborns, I carried them in and out of the house from the car in the carseat because I felt safer buckling them in my home and could easily pop them in the car and go.

I can't imagine putting a strap on it. That just doesn't make any sense to me.

Good post. :)

Bahahahaha! That's the funniest thing I've ever seen!!! It's like a lame excuse for a wrap...or a sling... But it's just NOT! It's all wrong! I can't believe anyone would choose a carseat and harness over a comfy cozy totally easy wrap. I have 4 kids (age 5 and under) so a wrap is a life saver in the store!!
