Girasol Atlantis Woven Wrap

Girasol Atlantis is a beautiful gradation from purple to blue to green, designed for me by Kalleigh Designs. The intricate honeycomb weave is evident through the color gradation picked out in black thread. The black (cuervo) weft brings out the intensity of the blue, green and purple colors in the weave.
Girasol Atlantis wrap is a unique artisan piece, as it is handwoven on traditional looms in Guatemala.
This beautiful jewel tones wrap will be easy to use straight out of the box as it is thin and supple. It perfectly conforms around the shape of a tiny newborn or sturdily supports even your heavy toddler in a supportive back carry.
Use this wrap in dozens of different ways for front carries, hip carries and for back carries for any age.
For those familiar with g/m² or gsm (grams per square meter – a way of measuring fabric weight), this honeycomb weave Atlantis wrap has a gsm of about 228.26 g/m²

This wrap is 100% cotton so it is easy to care for and does not need babying. The Girasol Atlantis wrap can be machine washed, may be ironed and occasionally – if haste is required – even dried in tumble-driers.Girasol Atlantis – different color rails
Because of the color gradient, Atlantis makes it easy to keep track of your rails – meaning that you always know which side of the wrap is which and can tell if it had become twisted. You can wrap with either the purple side or green side up, and can see whether the wrap has been twisted by whether that color remains on top as you bring it around your body. Most of my international shipments are sent by USPS Priority Mail International with a discounted shipping rate of $26 for most European and Australian shipments and $30 for most Canadian shipments.

USPS Priority International reports a shipping time of 6-10 business days to most major markets. That means that if you live far from a major city, it may take a little longer.

Woven wrap sizing depends mainly on the size of the adult using the wrap and which carries you want to be able to do.
If you are new to woven wraps, choose your base size wrap. Your BASE SIZE is the wrap length that will allow you to comfortably tie all of the full length carries.
If you live somewhere very hot or prefer to use a shorter wrap that will have fewer layers around you and baby, I recommend choosing a size that is 2 sizes smaller than your BASE SIZE.

2. Select your base size or a wrap that is 2 sizes smaller than your base size.
3. If you are wrapping a large toddler or wrapping twins, you can use a wrap that is 1 size larger than your base size.

Choosing my first new woven wrap was an easy decision—I knew it had to be from Diana. The vibrant blue, green, and purple gradient of Atlantis is absolutely stunning.
I consider myself an advanced beginner, having started my wrapping journey 15 months ago, but I think this wrap would be great for beginners. It has a good amount of grip and is a comfortable light-medium weight, making it easy to work with.
While some may see it as just a piece of woven fabric, Diana has created a community that educates and supports others in babywearing, making the experience fun and far less intimidating. You won’t be disappointed with the Atlantis or any other Girasol wrap she offers!
Absolutely LOVE this wrap! This was the first brand new wrap I’ve had so I wasn’t sure what to expect (since my others are all secondhand), but it exceeded my expectations! It wrapped like a dream from the moment I took it out of the packaging! Extremely soft, medium thickness but super supportive, and very easy to tighten but grippy enough to do knotless finishes! I have a larger collection of wraps now and Atlantis is one of my favorite wraps to use! The colors are so beautiful and even more so in person! 100/10 definitely recommend this wrap!
Really good beginner wrap. Thin and grippy, VERY easy to work with and forgiving. I waited a while for this color to come back in stock, so I bought a base and a shortie lol. Hands down my favorite.
This wrap is even more stunning in person and so soft and supportive. Diana was so helpful when it came to figuring out what size to order and quickly responded to all my questions. She shipped out the wrap the next day and included a new user pamphlet with photos and step by step instructions for different carriers which is so helpful to me as a beginner! I have been itching for a Girasol from Wrap Your Baby for a while so I snatched one up as soon as I could and have not been disappointed in the least! This Atlantis wrap is beautiful and I am SO in love! I didn’t think it possible but it is way more stunning in person!
