Options with Straps
Once you pick a carry, there are still so many variations and ways to customize it for comfort or appearance! Here is a video that shows several different ways to do the straps in a rucksack carry:
standard rucksack straps
crossed in front
twist in front
chest belt
tibetan tie
Which is your favorite?

You are so adept at this…im one fo those who is not easily getting it..and keeps trying but has resorted to using the ergo most of the time for back carry (prefer very much a wrap for front, but now that she is 20+ pounds we don’t carry on front much).
I want desperately for a back carry in a wrap to be easy enough to consider going that way to airport! but for now, no. Wanted to say though, you re so adept that i cannot see if you are going over or under the legs in back as its so quick….

Renee, the straps go over, cross in the middle, then go under. The strap that goes under my right arm goes over baby’s right leg at the knee pit, then under baby’s left leg. The left strap comes under my left arm, over baby’s left leg, and under baby’s right leg. Clear as mud? I think I make it clear with the pictures on my rucksack tutorial: http://wrapyourbaby.com/rucksack.htm Where are you located? I think meeting with someone who can help you get it in person could change everything for you!

I really like the wrap in this video. It looks thin, but sturdy. Do you know what kind it is and what length. I’m looking into getting a wrap and I’m about the same size as you and would be interested in the wrap techinques with that size wrap. Thank you
