NOTE: Double Sling Shoulder to Shoulder (DSS2S) used to be called Double Rebozo Shoulder to Shoulder (DRS2S). They are the same carry. The name has been changed out of respect for the true meaning of the word ‘rebozo’ which belongs to Mesoamerican culture and had become blurred in the terminology of popular woven wrapping.

How to Superman Toss Your Baby onto Your Back

Double Sling Shoulder to Shoulder (formerly DRS2S)
Step 1. Ā With the wrap over baby’s back, bring one end over your shoulder and the other end under the opposite arm.

Double Shoulder to Shoulder tutorial step 2Step 2. Ā The wrap end coming under your arm crossesĀ over the other wrap end and then you tuck it between your knees to hold. Take the end that came over your shoulder and bring it up over the opposite shoulder.

Step 3.Ā  Bring the wrap across baby or toddler from over your shoulder to under your opposite arm without going under baby’s leg. This makes a second Traditional Sling Pass (TSP) over your baby. Ā When it comes under your arm, bring it up under the shoulder strap on the same side.

TAS (tied at shoulder) finish: bring the long wrap end under your arm to the back, run it behind baby’s knees, and bring under the opposite arm where you can tie it to the short end in a double knot at your shoulder.
