This is an easy toddler front carry that you can do with your woven wrap and it works for a little baby too!
There are dozens of ways to wrap baby or toddler on your chest, hip, or back. This simple method ties at the shoulder and has no fabric wrapped around your waist so it’s cooler in hot weather and more flattering on all body types that carriers with waist bands!
Plus it’s a great carry for breastfeeding! Ready for life with a breastfed baby to get easier? 😊

Step 1. Place the wrap at your chest, with one short end and one long end.

Step 2. Bring the short end of the wrap under your arm and over the opposite shoulder with at least 1 foot hanging down.

Step 3: Bring the other side of the wrap under your arm and over the opposite shoulder.

Step 4: Make some space to put baby into the center wrap.

Step 5: Bring baby or toddler up to your shoulder in a “burp position.”

Step 6: Lower baby or toddler into the wrap and guide feet out the bottom.

Step 7: pull on one wrap end to tighten the wrap around baby or toddler.
Be sure to pull upwards instead of forward over your shoulder.

Step 8: Now pull upwards on the other wrap end to continue to tighten the wrap around baby.

Step 9: go back and forth pulling on each end until there is no slack in the wrap around baby or toddler.
NOTE: the bottom (purple) edge of the wrap should be tightened to pull baby’s knees up in between you.

Step 10: Spread one end of the wrap over the back and under baby or toddler’s bottom from knee to knee.

Step 11: tuck the wrap end under baby’s knee.

Step 12: bring the wrap end up from baby’s knee and tie to the other wrap end coming over your shoulder.
Tie a double knot or use a slip knot for adjustability (especially if you expect to nurse in the carry).
